2022 Mahindra Scorpio N Details Leak Again: Owner’s Manual Reveal Dimensions
New details of the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N is leaked again ahead of the launch of the SUV. The latest leak provides information regarding the dimensions of the upcoming Scorpio N.
Though with the spy shots and the teaser videos, it was clear that the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N will be bigger than its predecessor, little did we know that the new Scorpio N will be such a big SUV.
Thanks to the leaked owner's manual of the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N, we can now understand that the new Scorpio N is 4,662mm long, 1,917mm wide, and 1,870mm tall. Apart from this, the leaked owner's manual also revealed the wheelbase of the new Scorpio N at 2,750mm.
Putting these numbers into perspective, the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N is about 206mm longer, 97mm wider, and 125mm shorter compared to the current Scorpio. Moreover, the wheelbase is also 70mm longer, which will definitely help improve high-speed stability and also liberate more knee room on the 2nd row.
Crucially, the upcoming new Scorpio N is not only 27mm wider and 115mm taller than the Mahindra XUV700, but the upcoming Mahindra XUV700 is 23mm wider and 84mm taller than the brute-looking Tata Safari SUV.
On the inside, the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N will feature a large touchscreen infotainment unit with AdrenoX AI, connected car technology, semi-digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, electric sunroof and many more features.
However, unlike the Mahindra XUV700, the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N will not be offered with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), which includes active safety systems that help avoid accidents.
Earlier, a few details regarding the powertrain of the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N was leaked online and as per those details, the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N SUV gets a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine with 172bhp of peak power and 400Nm of peak torque.
The leaked document also reveals that the torque output from this engine is limited to 370Nm in the variant equipped with the 6-speed manual transmission.
In addition to this, the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N will also feature the 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 197bhp of peak and 380Nm of torque.
The information also confirms that the new Mahindra Scorpio N SUV will be available with manual and automatic gearbox options. It is also worth mentioning that the automatic variant of the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N comes with larger 18-inch alloy wheels instead of 17-inch alloy wheels in the manual variants.
Also, in a piece of separate leaked information, new details about the AWD version of the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N were leaked. This leaked information confirms that the upcoming new Scorpio N gets both 4-high and 4-low gear rations.
According to these leaked details, the AWD version of the Mahindra Scorpio N features buttons to switch between 4-high and 4-low modes on its transfer case and also sports Mahindra's 4Xplore system with Rough, Snow, Mud, and Water modes.
To further improve the traction during off-road conditions, Mahindra has also equipped the AWD version of the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N with a lockable rear differential.
The leaked information also confirms that the 6-seater version of the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N sports both 2+2+2 and 2+2+3 seating arrangements, where the former gets 50:50 split seats and the latter gets 60:40 split seats.

The D-segment SUV segment is also likely to become a lot more competitive with the launch of Mahindra Scorpio N and Mahindra will be looking forward to increasing its market share.
