2022 Ford Endeavour Makes Global Debut: Longer & Wider Than Previous Model

Design-wise, the new 2022 Ford Everest looks a lot more intimidating than its predecessor with its C-shaped headlamps, and a large front grille divided into two parts by a horizontal bar in the middle. Moreover, the high bonnet and flat nose give the 2022 Ford Everest a more muscular appeal.

Other than this, the new 2022 Ford Everest also gets a heavily redesigned front bumper and thick black claddings on the lower half to enhance the rugged appearance.

From the sides, thought the new 2022 Ford Everest is an all-new model, the side profile seems to follow an evolutionary design language. However, the new Ford Endeavour looks a lot more mature with its less pronounced wheel arches. Other than this, the 2022 Ford Everest also sport alloy wheels with a different design.

Coming to the rear of the new 2022 Ford Everest, the new 7-seater SUV gets two-piece taillamps like its predecessor, however, the taillamps look a lot more stylish with well-defined LED light guides and are connected together by gloss black plastic panel.

In addition to these changes on the outside, the 2022 Ford Everest is also 50mm wider and comes with a 50mm longer wheelbase compared to its predecessor. This longer wheelbase generally translates into more interior space, especially for the second-row passengers as engineers could mount the middle-row seat a bit further back.

Speaking about the interior of the 2022 Ford Everest, the new SUV sports a completely new interior and the whole dashboard is now dominated by a large portrait-style 12-inch touchscreen infotainment unit.

This new infotainment unit runs on Ford's latest SYNC 4A infotainment system and may come with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality. However, in lower trim levels, the large 12-inch touchscreen is replaced by a smaller 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit.

Other than this, the higher trim levels on the 2022 Ford Everest also sport a large 12.4-inch digital driver's display, whereas the lower trim levels get an 8-inch unit instead.

Features-wise, the new 2022 Ford Everest also comes equipped with features such as ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a large panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, automatic climate control, connected car tech, USB charging points in all three rows, 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat, cooled glovebox, power-folding third-row seats, a powered tailgate and many more.

Also, the 2022 Ford Everest also comes with top-shelf safety features such as 9 airbags, hands-free parking, Ford's pre-collision assist, adaptive cruise control, lane watch system and many more.

Powertrain options on the new Ford Everest include a 4-cylinder, 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine and a much more potent 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 diesel engine. Moreover, transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 10-speed automatic gearbox.

The new Ford Endeavour looks a lot more muscular and intimidating than the model it replaces. Apart from that, the new model also gets a much more potent V6 turbo diesel engine. If Ford launched this SUV a year ago in India, Ford might be running successfully in the country.
