2021 Jeep Compass SUV Launched In India: Prices Start At Rs 16.99 Lakh
Jeep has finally introduced their much-awaited 2021 Compass facelift SUV in the Indian market. The new 2021 Jeep Compass SUV now comes with a starting price of Rs 16.99 lakh, ex-showroom (Delhi). The new premium mid-size SUV now comes with a host of features and updates, both on the inside and out.

The new (2021) Jeep Compass facelift is offered in 4 variants: Sport, Longitude, Limited & Model S. The top-spec ‘Model S' variant is offered with a price tag of Rs 24.49 lakh. Apart from these four variants, Jeep India has also introduced a new ‘80th Anniversary Edition' model, which is priced at Rs 22.96 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom (Delhi).

Bookings for the SUV have already begun, for a token amount of Rs 50,000. Interested customers can visit the brand's dealerships or make bookings online. Deliveries for the new SUV are scheduled to begin from 2 February 2021.
All variants of the new Jeep Compass come packed with a host of features and equipment as standard. The new SUV also features updated exterior design, along with a completely revamped cabin, making the new Jeep Compass a more attractive offering in the segment.

Starting off with the exteriors, the new Compass SUV now features an updated front end, featuring the signature seven-slat vertical grille, sleek LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, LED fog lamps on the front bumper flanking the central air intake, newly designed dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, LED taillights and many others.

Inside as well, the 2021 Jeep Compass comes with a host of upgrades and additional features and equipment. This includes a slightly revised dashboard layout with soft-touch material all-around, a new steering wheel design with mounted controls, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and the brand's latest ‘UConnect5' technology.

The SUV also comes with wireless charging, ventilated seats, driver-side electronically adjustable seats, 60:40 rear seat split, remote keyless entry and many others as well. The 2021 Jeep Compass comes packed with a host of safety and off-road specific features as well.

The limited-edition 2021 Jeep Compass 80th Anniversary model will further come with gloss black front grille, black dual-tone roof, black mirrors, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, 18-inch granite crystal alloy wheels, body-painted front and rear fascia, sill moulding and fender flares; among others.
The 80th Anniversary models feature a sporty all-black interior, among a host of other tweaks as well. The special edition model comes with Jeep's heritage insignia on the exterior, front seats and on the instrument panel towards the front passenger side.

The new 2021 Jeep Compass SUV will be offered with a choice of two engine options. This includes a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit producing 163bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. The other comes in the form of a 2.0-litre diesel engine churning out 173bhp and 350Nm of peak torque. Transmission options on the 2021 Compass SUV include a six-speed manual, seven-speed DCT and a nine-speed automatic choice.

All trims will come standard with a front-wheel-drive system as standard. Jeep will be offering the Limited, Model S and the 80th Anniversary edition with a 4x4 drive. This will be in the form of the brand's Active Drive and SelectTerrain 4x4 system. The 4x4 system will be combined with just the diesel-powered variants of the three trims mentioned above.

The 2021 Jeep Compass SUV is offered with a choice of seven colour options, four of which have been carried over from the previous model. The three new paint schemes include: Techno Green Metallic, Galaxy Blue and Bright White.
