Maruti Suzuki Car Prices Hiked By Up To Rs 34,000: Here Are The New Prices!

Maruti Suzuki has announced a price hike on a number of its select models in the Indian market. The price hike will be effective immediately and range from Rs 5000 to Rs 34,000; making it the biggest price hike from the brand yet.

Popular models such as the Alto, Celerio, S-Presso, WagonR, Swift, Ertiga, Vitara Brezza and others have received the price increase. The lowest price increase across the range is for the Maruti Tour S whose prices have been increased by Rs 5,061.

Second on the list is the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso which has received a Rs 7000 price increase. The highest price hikes, however, have been for the Swift and the Ertiga at Rs 30,000 and Rs 34,000, respectively.

Other important models to receive a price hike include the Vitara Brezza, Alto, Dzire and the WagonR. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and the Dzire have received similar price hikes of Rs 10,000 and Rs 12.500, respectively. The Alto receives a slightly higher price increase of Rs 14,000, while the tall-boy hatchback receives a more significant Rs 23,000 hike in its prices.

Maruti Suzuki had announced back in December 2020 that they will be increasing prices on a number of its models at the start of 2021. The company had cited rising input costs as the main reason for the price hike.
