Mahindra XUV700 Variant-Wise Features & Comparison: 5-Seater, 7-Seater, Expected Price & More

Mahindra unveiled the XUV700 globally and have revealed some of the details on the variants offered and the key features of the upcoming SUV. Here is a comparison of all the variants that will be offered on the SUV.

The XUV700 will be available in two main variants or 'Turbocharged Series' as the company would like to call it. The base-spec variant is called the MX variant or MX Series. And is available in a single trim.

While the top-spec variant or Adrenox AX Series, which is available in three trims: AX3, AX5 and AX7.

XUV700 MX Series or MX Variant

It is the base variant of the SUV and is offered in a single trim. The company will be offering both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine will remain common across all variants. However, the diesel engine on the MX series will be a de-tuned mHawk 2.2-litre unit.

2.0-litre turbo petrol

  • Max power: 198bhp
  • Peak torque: 380Nm
  • Transmission: 6MT or 6AT
  • 0 to 60kmph in 5 seconds
  • 2.2-litre turbo diesel

    • Max power: 153bhp
    • Peak torque: 360Nm MT
    • Transmission: 6MT
    • Key features of MX Series

      • Although it is the base-spec variant of the XUV700, the company has packed with a ton of features along with diesel and petrol powertrain options. The MX series is expected to be offered in both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations.

        This particular variant could cost between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 16 lakh, ex-showroom.

        XUV700 Adrenox AX3 Series or AX3 Variant

        The Adrenox AX3 is the base trim of the AX Series, which is also offered in diesel and petrol engine options. However, the diesel engine is in a higher state of tune.

            • Like the MX, the AX3 variant is also expected to be offered in 5-seat and 7-seat configurations. This particular variant could retail between Rs 17 lakh and 18 lakh, ex-showroom.

              XUV700 Adrenox AX5 Series or AX5 Variant

              The Adrenox AX5 is the mid-spec trim of the AX Series, which is offered in the same diesel and petrol engine options as the AX3 trim.
