Mahindra XUV700 Will Be Available In Five Different Colours; Pricing Starts From Rs 11.99 Lakh
Mahindra XUV700 will be available in five different colours. Mahindra posted the details regarding the colours on an official social media post.
The Mahindra XUV700 is one of the most-awaited SUVs in India. Along with the launch of XUV700, Mahindra introduced a new logo that will represent the brand.
As shown on the official social media post, the new Mahindra XUV700 will be available in five different exterior colour schemes which include Red Rage, Midnight Black, Everest White, Electric Blue, and Dazzling Silver.
Apart from this, the new Mahindra XUV700 will be available in 34 different variants. Speaking of which, the Mahindra XUV will come with both petrol and diesel powertrains, and an automatic gearbox will be offered as an option. Other variations include two choices of seating such as 5-seater and 7-seater variants.
According to the leaked variant details, the XUV700 will also come in All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) as an exclusive option on the top-end diesel automatic variant. The leaked documents also reveal that the XUV700 will come in additional variants in AX7 trim, namely; C, T, and L.
From the leaked documents regarding the variants, the petrol manual transmission models will get 9 variants, whereas the automatic petrol model gets 7 variants only. This takes a total of 16 variants for the petrol model.
However, unlike the petrol models, the diesel models of XUV700 come with all 9 variations for both automatic and manual transmission variants, taking the total to 18 variants for the diesel XUV700.
Speaking about the design of the new XUV700, Mahindra has chosen an evolutionary design language over a radical approach. This means the XUV700 retains the silhouette from the XUV500 even though the XUV700 is an all-new vehicle from the ground up.
Overall the exterior design now seems far more sophisticated and mature, especially with those flush door handles.
Moving on to the inside, the sense of sophistication increases by few folds with the presence of two massive 10.25-inch screens reminiscent of the ones seen on the latest models from Mercedes-Benz.
Apart from this, the horizontal elements on the dashboard accentuate the width of the cabin and divide the dashboard into three parts for a clutter-free visual experience.
The XUV700 also comes with some outstanding features such as a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake, wireless charging, adaptive cruise control, a multi-function flat-bottom steering wheel, front seats with memory function, and drive modes.
Safety-wise, the XUV700 will come with a whole host of active and passive safety features such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) which includes features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assistance, emergency braking and a few more. Passive safety features include seven airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP and a few more.
The XUV700 comes with a choice of one petrol engine and two diesel engines. The petrol engine is a 2.0-litre turbocharged unit with 197 bhp, whereas the 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine comes in two states of tune, a 153 bhp tune for the lower trim levels and a more powerful 182 bhp tune.
All engines come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Pricing for the Mahindra XUV700 starts from Rs 11.99 Lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the base petrol variant.
