Mahindra Increases The Price Across All Its Variants: Here Are The New Prices!

Mahindra has hiked prices of all models across its portfolio. The price hike includes models such as the KUV100, XUV300, Bolero, Thar, Marazzo, XUV500, and Alturas G4. The hike is up to Rs 49,000. Moreover, except the Thar, all the models had their prices revised in February earlier this year. Below are the current prices for the models.

Starting with the KUV100, the price for the base variant now starts at Rs 6.06 lakh and goes all the way up to the Rs 7.72 lakh mark. All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom.

The XUV300 now starts at Rs 7.96 lakh for the base and goes all the way up to the Rs 12.94 lakh mark for the top-end variant. All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom. The vehicle comes with two engine options: one petrol and one diesel. The petrol engine comes in the form of a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit producing 110bhp and 200Nm of torque. The diesel power unit on the XUV300 has been carried forward from the Marazzo and comes in the form of a 1.5-litre unit producing 115bhp and 300Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to a standard six-speed manual gearbox.

The Mahindra Bolero now starts at Rs 8.40 lakh for the base and Rs 9.15 lakh for the top-end trim. All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom. The Mahindra Bolero is a work-horse SUV offering from the brand in the Indian market. It comes powered by a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre mHawk75 diesel engine that produces 75bhp at 3,600rpm and 210Nm of peak torque at 1,600 - 2,200rpm and is mated to a standard five-speed gearbox.

The Thar is now offered with a starting price of Rs 12.12 lakh for the base and goes all the way up to the Rs 14.17 lakh mark for the top-end variant. All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom. The Thar SUV comes powered by two engine options, a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol unit and an updated version of the old 2.2-litre diesel engine. The new T-GDi petrol engine produces 150bhp and 320Nm of peak torque. The mHawk diesel unit, on the other hand, churns out 130bhp and 300Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to either a six-speed manual or a torque-converter automatic transmission.

The Marazzo now starts at Rs 12.04 lakh for the base and goes all the way up to the Rs 14.12 lakh mark for the top-end variant. All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom. The Marazzo MPV is powered by a 1.5-litre BS6 compliant diesel engine that produces a maximum power of 121bhp and a peak torque of 300Nm.

The Scorpio has been priced at Rs 12.32 lakh for the base and Rs 17.02 lakh for the top-end variant. All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom. The SUV was updated to comply with the latest BS6 emission norms in the Indian market. It comes powered by an updated 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. It produces 140bhp at 3750rpm and 320Nm of torque at 1500rpm and is mated to a standard six-speed manual gearbox.

The XUV500 has now been priced at Rs 15.53 lakh for the base and Rs 20.04 lakh for the top-end variant. All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom. The SUV is powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine which makes 155bhp and 360Nm of torque. There is also a 2.2-litre petrol variant on offer. It makes 140bhp and 320Nm. The power plants are mated to either a six-speed manual or an automatic transmission (the petrol model comes only as an automatic).

The Alturas G4 now gets a starting price of Rs 28.74 lakh and goes all the way up to the Rs 31.74 lakh mark. All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom. The Alturas G4 is powered by a BS6-compliant 2.2-litre diesel engine. It produces 180bhp and 420Nm of peak torque and is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission unit; sourced from Mercedes-Benz. The power is sent to either the front wheels (2WD) or all four wheels (4WD), depending on the variant.

We are expecting that the prices of all the variants have increased due to the increase in the cost of production. However, the hike in the price of all the vehicles is not that much that it will affect the sales of the company.
