Kia Carnival 30-Day Buyback Scheme Introduced In India: 95% Moneyback Guarantee

Kia India has introduced a new ownership scheme for its flagship Carnival MPV in the country. Called the 'Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme', it is offered to new customers of the MPV in India. Kia Carnival customers are allowed to return the MPV within 30 days of its purchase.

Customers will be receiving 95 per cent of the ex-showroom price of the Carnival and other overhead costs incurred by the owner for the registration and finances. However, there are a couple of conditions that the owners of the Carnival will have to satisfy to be eligible for the scheme.

Customers returning the Carnival should not have driven the MPV more than 1,500 kilometres. There should be no damages, failures and pending claims on the MPV. Also, if customers have financed the purchase, they should present the (NOC) No Objection Certificate at the time of return. Additionally, all other vehicle documents and consent for the transfer of the vehicle has to be provided by the customer as well.

Speaking on the industry-first initiative, Tae-Jin Park, Executive Director & CSBO, Kia India, said, "Last month, we introduced our new brand purpose of inspiring consumers through products and services, and their experiences with the brand. The 'Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme' is the first step to bring this purpose to life and is designed to offer a differentiated Kia ownership experience to our customers, prioritising their peace of mind during these testing times.

The growing popularity of our class-leading MPV has been extremely encouraging for us and this initiative aims to enhance customer belief in Kia Carnival even further."

Speaking about the Carnival, Kia offers the premium-luxury MPV in three variants: Premium, Prestige and Limousine. Prices start at Rs 24.95 lakh for the base 'Premium' trim, while the top-spec 'Limousine' variant retails at Rs 33.95 lakh. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom (India).

The Carnival MPV is offered with best-in-class four-row seating for nine occupants. The MPV is also offered in seven and eight seating configurations. The top-spec Limousine variant is available in a seven-seat configuration with fully adjustable front and middle row seats.

The premium MPV is over five metres long making for a spacious cabin with loads of headroom, and legroom for the passengers in all the rows. The spacious cabin also features two electrically operated sunroofs, which adds a pleasant and airy feel.
