Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched a new limited-edition model of its Innova Crysta MPV in India.
The new limited-edition model of the Toyota Innova Crysta is available in both petrol and diesel variants with an option for either a manual transmission or an automatic transmission.
Speaking about the new limited-edition Toyota Innova Crysta, V. Wiseline Sigamani, Associate General Manager (AGM), Sales and Strategic Marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, "Innova has undisputedly been the leader in the MPV segment since its launch, making it one of our flagship products. We have planned for a campaign to bring over 100 awesome features of Innova Crysta representing technology, luxury, unrivalled comfort, convenience combined with Toyota's Quality, Durability and Reliability, reaffirming its top position in the segment."
Like other limited-edition models from different automobile manufacturers, the new limited-edition model of the Toyota Innova Crysta will also be made in limited numbers.
However, unlike other automobile manufacturers, Toyota's new limited-edition Innova Crysta will be sold at regular price as a complimentary package.
As part of the new limited-edition pack, the Toyota Innova Crysta limited-edition gets a lot more worthy additional features such as a 360-degree camera for all-around visibility that will not only help the driver park the car in tight parking spaces, but will also help the driver navigate tight spaces or city streets with relative ease.
The next feature on offer is a very hand Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) that lets you monitor the tyre pressure remotely. Then there is a heads-up display that projects essential information on the driver's line of sight.
Apart from these, the limited-edition Toyota Innova Crysta also gets some more additional features over the standard model such as an air purifier, a wireless charger, and a set of illuminated scuff plates with 16-colour illumination.
The new limited-edition model of the Toyota Innova Crysta continues to be powered by the 2.4-litre turbocharged diesel engine and a 2.7-litre petrol engine.
The diesel unit produces 150 bhp and punchy 360 Nm of torque, whereas the petrol engine produces 166 bhp and 245 Nm of torque.
Both engines can be specified with a choice of 5-speed manual transmission or 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Apart from that, the new limited-edition Toyota Innova Crysta comes packed with all the standard features from the standard Innova Crysta such as LED projector headlamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, a cooled glovebox, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, leatherette upholstery, ambient lighting, and cruise control.
The prices for the new limited-edition Innova Crysta starts from Rs 17.18 lakh (ex-showroom, India), for the petrol variant, whereas the prices for the diesel variant starts from Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Thoughts About New Limited-Edition Toyota Innova Crysta
The new limited-edition Toyota Innova Crysta comes with many essential features. Also, despite the added features, Toyota has not hiked the prices on the limited-edition.
However, it is time for Toyota to revamp their standard feature list as many brands are offering good 7-seater vehicles at a lower price point and a lengthy standard feature list.
