Hyundai Increases The Price Across All Its Variants: Here Are The New Prices!

Hyundai has increased the price of its entire lineup. The price hike is between Rs 1,000 and Rs 34,000. This is the second time Hyundai has increased prices this year, possibly due to an increase in raw material costs. However, some variants have been spared from the price hike.

Now let us start with the Santro. Now, the starting price of the Santro is Rs 4.73 lakh for the base and goes all the way up to the 6.06 lakh mark. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom. The Santro draws power from a new 1.1-litre petrol engine that produces 68bhp at 5,500rpm and 99Nm of torque at 4,500rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard or an optional AMT gearbox. The new Hyundai Santro is also offered with a CNG fuel option and the CNG variant of the Santro delivers a power output of 58bhp at 5,500rpm and 84Nm of torque at 4,500rpm.

The Grand i10 Nios now starts at Rs 5.23 lakh for the base and goes up to the Rs 8.45 lakh mark for the top-end diesel variant. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom. The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS is powered by the same engine options as the older-generation Grand i10. This includes the 1.2-litre petrol and diesel engines. The 1.2-litre 'Kappa' petrol engine produces 81bhp and 114Nm of torque. The 1.2-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine, on the other hand, churns out 76bhp and 190Nm of peak torque. Both engines will come mated to a standard five-speed manual gearbox, with the optional AMT transmission also on offer.

The i20's price list now starts at Rs 6.85 lakh and goes all the way up to the 10.76 lakh for the top-end variant. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom. The all-new Hyundai i20 is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This produces 83bhp when paired with a five-speed manual gearbox and 87bhp when mated to the brand's iVT automatic transmission unit. The second engine is the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 120bhp and 172Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to either a six-speed iMT or a seven-speed DCT automatic unit. The final engine option is the 1.5-litre diesel churning out 100bhp and 240Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox as standard.

The Aura now gets a starting price of Rs 5.97 lakh for the base and Rs 9.35 lakh for the top-end variant. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom. The all-new Hyundai i20 comes with a choice of three engine options. This includes a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 83bhp when paired with a five-speed manual gearbox and 87bhp when mated to the brand's iVT automatic transmission unit. The second engine is the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 120bhp and 172Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to either a six-speed iMT or a seven-speed DCT automatic unit. The final engine option is the 1.5-litre diesel churning out 100bhp and 240Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox as standard.

The Verna now gets a starting price of Rs 9.20 lakh for the base and Rs 15.25 lakh for the top-end model. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom. The sedan now comes powered by a 1.5-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine offering. The 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine offerings produce 115bhp and 144Nm and 250Nm of torque, respectively. Both engines are mated either to a standard six-speed manual gearbox or an optional six-speed automatic transmission. The smaller 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit, on the other hand, produces a slightly better power output of 118bhp and 172Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a standard seven-speed dual-clutch automatic only.

The Elantra now gets a starting price of Rs 17.85 lakh for the base and Rs 21.12 lakh for the top-end model. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom. The Hyundai Elantra is powered by two engine options. One is a 2.0-litre petrol producing 152bhp and 192Nm of torque and a 1.6-litre diesel churning out 128bhp and 260Nm of torque. Both engines come mated to either a six-speed manual or an automatic gearbox.

The Venue gets a starting price of Rs 6.92 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 11.71 lakh for the top-end variant. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom. The Hyundai Venue is powered by three engine options. This includes a base 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 83bhp and 115Nm of torque and comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The second petrol engine comes in the form of a new 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged unit and produces 120bhp and 170Nm of torque and is mated to a standard six-speed manual transmission, with the optional seven-speed dual-clutch automatic as well. The third engine is a 1.4-litre unit borrowed from the Creta SUV which produces the same 89bhp and 220Nm of torque and also comes mated to the same six-speed manual gearbox.

The Creta gets the same starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh for the base but goes all the way up to Rs 17.62 lakh for the top-end variant. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom. The new Hyundai Creta features the same set of 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options, along with the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol as well. All three engines even produce the same power outputs as well. The 1.5-litre petrol produces 115bhp and 144Nm of torque while he 1.5-litre diesel churns out 115bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. Both engines are mated to a standard six-speed manual gearbox. The petrol and diesel engines also receive an optional automatic transmission unit as well. The third 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine, on the other hand, produces 140bhp and 242Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a dual-clutch automatic as standard, without the option of a manual transmission.

The Tucson now gets a starting price of Rs 22.57 lakh for the base and Rs 27.35 for the base variant. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom. The Hyundai Tucson is offered with two engine options: one petrol and one diesel. This includes a Nu 2.0-litre four-cylinder VVT petrol producing 155bhp and 192Nm of torque. The diesel unit, on the other hand, comprises a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine churning out 185bhp and 400Nm of torque. Both engines come mated to a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox choices.

Last but not least, the Kona electric vehicle gets a starting price of Rs 23.78 lakh and goes all the way up to the Rs 23.97 lakh mark. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom. The Hyundai Kona electric comes powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) paired with a 39.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The electric powertrain produces 134bhp and 395Nm of peak torque with a single-speed gearbox. The Kona electric offers peppy performance right from the start, mainly due to the instant torque available from the electric motor. The electric SUV comes with both standard and fast-charging technology. While the Hyundai Kona electric takes around 6 hours to charge from a standard charger, the fast-charging allows 80% charge in just 57 mins.

Thoughts About The Price Increase By Hyundai Across All Models

As we mentioned above, the prices of all the variants have increased due to the increase in the cost of production. However, the hike in the price in all the vehicles is not that much that it will affect the sales of the company.
