Hyundai i20 N-Line & Alcazar SUV Spied Testing Together: Here Are All The Details!

Hyundai, some time ago had announced that the company will be bringing in their N-Line performance range of models to the Indian market. Also, the company recently showcased the Alcazar with camouflage. However, according to the latest report by TeamBHP, both the Alcazar and the i20 N-Line were spotted testing on the Faridabad-Ballabgarh highway. The Research and Development centre of Hyundai is located in Faridabad itself.

The easy way to differentiate the i20 N from the regular one is its shape and other elements such as dual exhaust tips at the back and a set of larger alloy wheels. As we mentioned above, the Hyundai i20 N-Line is expected to feature a slightly different body kit as compared to the standard. This includes a larger front grille, revised bumper with a bigger air intake, 'N-Line' badging on the front grille, contrasting highlights all around, new side skirts and side sills and a few other changes as well.

Mechanically, the new i20 N-Line is expected to be powered by the same 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as on the standard model. This engine will produce 120bhp of power and 172Nm of peak torque. However, the exact details of the engine and powertrain are yet to be announced. Hyundai will price the Hyundai i20 N-Line at a slight premium, compared to the standard model.

Now speaking about the Alcazar, the company recently unveiled the much-awaited Alcazar SUV in its production-ready guise. The company is expected to launch in the coming months in the Indian market. The Alcazar is essentially a three-row version of the brand's Creta SUV.

Mechanically, the Alcazar SUV will be offered with a 2.0-litre NA petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The new 2.0-litre 'NA' petrol engine is a four-cylinder DOHC naturally-aspirated unit and produces 157bhp of power and a peak torque of 192Nm.

On the other hand, the 1.5-litre diesel engine is the same four-cylinder turbocharged unit from the Creta. It produces 115bhp of power and a peak torque of 250Nm. Both engines will be offered with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

Thoughts About The Hyundai i20 N-Line & The Alcazar Being Spied Together

Both the Hyundai i20 N-Line and the Alcazar SUV will be launching soon in the Indian market. The Hyundai Alcazar will go up against the likes of the MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari and the Mahindra XUV500 and the i20 N-Line will lock horns with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, Tata Altroz, Honda Jazz, and Volkswagen Polo in India.
