Honda Cars Price Hike Announced: Amaze Prices Increase By Rs 1.12 lakh — Model-Wise Price List
Honda announces a price hike for the second time this year and has been issued on all models except for the fourth-generation City. The price increase ranges between Rs 10,000 and Rs 1.12 lakh.
Honda Amaze Price List
The company has increased the price of the Honda Amaze ranging between Rs 10,000 and Rs 1.12 lakh. The compact sedan receives the highest price increase on the top-spec VX CVT diesel variant. Also, the Amaze Special Edition models have been discontinued.

As seen from the table above, the petrol variants receive a nominal price hike of Rs 10,000. While the diesel models receive price increase ranging between Rs 78,000 and Rs 1.12 lakh. The compact sedan now retails between Rs 6.32 lakh and Rs 11.11 lakh, ex-showroom (Delhi).
Honda Fifth-Generation City Price List
The entire line-up of the Fifth-Generation City has received a price hike of Rs 17,000. The sedan now retails between Rs 11.16 lakh and Rs 15.11 lakh, ex-showroom (Delhi).

The company has increased the prices of the premium hatchback by up to Rs 11,000. The base-spec and the top-spec variants (V MT and ZX CVT) have received a price hike of Rs 10,000. While other variant prices have increased by Rs 11,000.

Honda WR-V Price List
The brand's compact SUV is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The WR-V petrol variants have received a price hike of Rs 14,000. While the diesel variant prices have increased by up to Rs 92,000. The company has also discontinued the Exclusive Edition variants of the WR-V in India.

After the price hike, the petrol variants of the WR-V retail between Rs 8.76 lakh and Rs 9.89 lakh. While the diesel models cost between Rs 10.77 lakh and Rs 11.80 lakh. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom (Delhi).
As mentioned before, Honda has not increased the prices of the fourth-generation City. The sedan is available with a petrol engine and in two variants: SV and V. They currently retail at Rs 9.29 lakh and Rs 9.99 lakh respectively.
Thoughts About The Honda Cars Price Hike Announced In August In India
Honda becomes the latest automaker to announce a price hike in the country. Although the company is yet to announce the reason behind the price increase, we reckon it could be due to the rising inputs costs of manufacturing. Honda is offering a host of offers to partially offset the price hike as well.
