Speaking to Overdrive, Mr Anand Kulkarni, Vehicle Line Director at Tata Motors EV, stated that the company is expected to improve the Nexon EV range with future updates. The brand's Ziptron technology featured on the Nexon EV will be improved to offer better range, performance, and efficiency.

The Ziptron technology will also spawn more electric vehicles in the company's portfolio. This includes the upcoming Tata Altroz EV that was showcased at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, and the Tata HBX mini SUV. Though, the battery capacity, power output and range might be different as compared to the Nexon EV.
