Tata Gravitas SUV Spied Testing In India Ahead Of Launch Yet Again: Spy Pics & Details
Tata Motors is working on introducing its next model, the Gravitas SUV in the Indian market. The new Tata Gravitas SUV is expected to go on sale in the country sometime later this year. The SUV is essentially an extended version of the brand's Harrier model and will be offered in both six and seven-seater configurations.
Ahead of its launch in the Indian market, the Tata Gravitas has been spotted testing yet again. The spy pics posted on the 4x4 India/Facebook page showcases the Tata Gravitas undergoing testing and wrapped in heavy camouflage. The SUV in the spy images is said to be the six-seater version of the Gravitas, which comes with individual captain seats in the middle row.
The Tata Gravitas was first showcased in the country during the 2020 Auto Expo. The car is the brand's much-awaited product and once launched will be positioned above the Harrier in the brand's India lineup. This will make the Gravitas the brand's new flagship model, especially after the discontinuation of the Hexa SUV.
While the Tata Gravitas will carry forward the same powertrain options as its Harrier sibling, the SUV will feature a number of design changes and updates to help differentiate between the two. The Gravitas is also said to be 63mm longer and 80mm taller than the Harrier; this is to offer enough space in the cabin to fit the third-row of seats.
The Tata Gravitas will come with a number of features, including LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED taillights, integrated roof rails, stepped roof, sunroof, updated set of 18-inch alloy wheels and a host of other changes. The boot-lid and the rear profile, along with the rear quarter panel has also been updated, which clearly helps differentiate the Gravitas from the Harrier.

Thoughts About The Tata Gravitas SUV Spy Pics
The Tata Gravitas is one of the most awaited models from the brand in the Indian market. Once launched in India, the Tata Gravitas will be a direct rival to the likes of the MG Hector Plus, Ford Endeavour and the Toyota Fortuner. The SUV will be priced competitively in the market, slightly higher than its five-seater sibling.
