Design

The new (2020) Hyundai Creta comes with a completely revamped design compared to the outgoing model. The new Creta SUV borrows design cues from the international ix25 SUV, which debuted at the 2019 Beijing Auto Show.

Starting with the front, the new Creta SUV now comes with dual headlamp design, with the LED DRLs positioned above the main headlamp cluster. The LED DRLs come in an inverse C-Shape, surrounding the main headlamps which also feature LED projector units.

The headlamps flank a new cascading front grille on the Hyundai Creta. The new front grille is larger and comes surrounded by a thin strip of chrome all around. The grille also comes with horizontal chrome slats, offering a more premium character to the SUV at the front. The front bumpers have also been redesigned and house a new set of fog lamps, a central air intake and silver scuff plates.

Hyundai has also brought in a newly-designed set of alloy wheels on the new Creta as well.

Interiors & Features

Hyundai hasn't revealed the interiors of the new Creta. However, the SUV is expected to receive a host of premium updates, both in terms of features and overall quality of materials. We expect the new Hyundai Creta to come with soft-touch materials all around, premium leather seating upholstery for the higher-spec variants, large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a host of other features.

The 1.5-litre petrol and diesel and the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine options will power the new Hyundai Creta. The 1.4-litre turbo petrol option though will be available only on the higher-spec models, similar to the Seltos. We expect all three engines on the new Hyundai Creta to produce the same power and torque figures as on the Kia Seltos, although it is yet to be confirmed officially.
