Both engines come mated to a standard six-speed manual gearbox, with an optional seven-speed CVT automatic transmission offered on the petrol models.
The new City has grown in size and is wider and longer as compared to the older generation model. The bold character line on the side is inspired by the Japanese Katana blade, a type of curved sword used by ancient samurai.
It features a new headlamps cluster that is equipped with nine full-LED lights placed in series with an Integrated LED DRL and L-shaped LED turn signal. At the rear, it features a Z-shaped wrap-around LED tail-lamps. The sedan also comes equipped with 16-inch diamond-cut dual-tone alloys.
On the inside, the City features a completely new cabin with a host of added features. The highlight of the interior changes has to be the all-new dashboard that houses an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a segment-first Alexa Remote voice assistance feature.
It also features the brand's latest connected technology with the Telematics Control Unit (TCU) that offers over 32 connected features, a new multi-functional steering wheel, a segment-first seven-inch TFT display with analogue dials flanked on either side. The new City also features a G-meter that is can measure the cornering forces, an electric sunroof, and a revised climate control unit; among others.

This includes a lane monitoring assist with a camera mounted on the left-side external rear-view mirror, dual front i-SRS airbags, vehicle stability assist, a (TPMS) Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, six airbags, ABS with EBD and more.
