Mahindra XUV300 Sales Milestone: Crosses 40,000 Units Since Launch
The current-generation Mahindra XUV300 model has crossed the 40,000 mark for units sold in India. The company's compact SUV offering has registered 40,503 units is sales since it was launched on 14 February 2019.
This translates to a diesel : petrol ratio of 72 percent : 28 percent. The company sold a total of 2,132 units during December last year taking the total sales figures to 40,503 units.
The current generation Mahindra XUV300 features a sharp design with a sleek front grille, headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, and a large central air-dam that is flanked by fog lamps on either side.
The side profile is muscular, and add a sporty characteristic to the SUV. The XUV300 features 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, silver roof rails, plastic cladding and a blacked-out C-pillar.
The rear profile looks just as sporty and features a stylish tail light design, dual-tone rear bumpers with integrated reflectors, and a silver scuff plate.
The Mahindra XUV300 features a dual-tone cabin with a host of creature comforts. The dashboard is finished in black and beige with silver accents, and the vehicle features a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The Mahindra XUV300 is available with a choice of two engine options - a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit that produces 110bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
The second engine option is a 1.5-litre diesel unit that produces 115bhp of power and 300Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to six-speed manual gearbox. The diesel engine is by far the most powerful engine available in the compact SUV segment.
Mahindra also offers the XUV300 with different driving and modes, both of which add more character to the SUV and make driving more engaging. The current-generation Mahindra XUV300 is priced between Rs 8.30 lakh and Rs 12.69 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
The XUV300 also became the first BS6 compliant Mahindra vehicle to be made available for consumers. The BS6 petrol model was launched on 3 December, last year.

The Mahindra XUV300 has been one of the company's best-selling models in its segment. The company has constantly upgraded the model and offers the best it possibly can in terms of features and creature comforts. Kudos to Mahindra for having produced a successful model.
