Force T1N Diesel Model Spotted Testing Sans Camouflage Ahead Of India Launch: Spy Pics
The Force T1N has been spotted outside a tyre shop while in the middle of testing. Spy pics reveal the Force T1N sans camouflage. In addition, the vehicle looks like it is almost production ready.
According to Team-BHP, the spy pics also reveal that the Force Motors' T1N people mover that was spotted is a diesel model. They also reveal the vehicle sans any wheel caps, and bumpers finished in black - suggesting that the vehicle is an entry-level trim.
Spy pics of the Force T1N also reveal a dashboard mounted gear level, what looks like an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system, multiple connectivity options, and two rows of buttons. Considering the vehicle is being used specifically for testing on Indian roads, it featured only three usable seats at the back.
The model that was seen testing is a 14-seater diesel variant that features a 2.6-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 112bhp. The engine comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
The Force T1N will also be available with a 120kW (161bhp) motor that is mated to single-speed planetary transmission. Both variants send power to all four wheels.
Once launched, the Force T1N will be offered in a long wheelbase format as well. Expectations are that the vehicle will arrive with dual airbags, ABS and EBD, disc brakes at all wheels, three zone climate control, and an infotainment system that is Apple CarPlay and Android compatible.
Force Motors currently sells multiple variants of its traveller models and the vehicles are priced between Rs 11.10 lakh and Rs 24.27 lakh, ex-showroom. The new-generation T1N models are expected to be launched towards the end of this year, and are expected to carry a premium over the current-generation vehicles.
Thoughts About The Force T1N Spotted Testing Sans Camouflage
As always, a vehicle testing sans camouflage means the company is almost ready for launch. We are looking forward to the Force T1N in both its standard and long-wheelbase variants.
Such vehicles are seldom seen in their stock avatar and are almost always customised. The current Covid-19 situation and the want for better safety could lead to an increase in vehicles like the T1N. Vehicles like these will make fantastic motorhomes!
