BMW Launches Contactless Experience Initiative In india: Buy Your Car Online
German auto manufacturer BMW ha launched a 'Contactless Experience' for its customers in India. The Contactless Experience is basically on online car purchasing tool where buyers can configure their cars, make a payment for, and have vehicles delivered at home.
The Contactless Experience can be accessed via the company's website. Once customers choose a model and variant, the online configurator kicks in to help customers make personalized changes to the vehicle.
Personalization includes changes to the upholstery, the interior trim, the vehicle's alloy wheels, exterior colours, and other accessories. Customers are then redirected to BMW's online store where a dealer can be selected.
Dealers connect with customers over a phone call and assist product related queries, finance options, and other purchase related decisions. Once documentation is complete, BMW ensures that the vehicle undergoes a thorough sanitation process before being delivered to the customer. The vehicle's documents are handed over in a sealed envelope.

Thoughts About BMW's Contactless Experience Initiative Launched In India
BMW's Contactless Experience initiative will benefit both the company and its customers. Considering the ‘state of lock down' has a high chance of an extension, customers will not be able to visit showrooms any time soon. What remains to be seen is BMW continues to offer this Contactless Experience after the lock down ceases to exist.
