Managing Director, Guenter Butschek, recently told ET that the company is committed to electric vehicles and wants to lead the evolution in this segment. "We have ensured that future architectures Alpha and Omega are both future-protected for EV's. Apart from working on a higher range of the Tigor and Tiago EV, our first two offerings on the Alpha structure will have an EV option," he said.

Tigor EV

Tata wants to add the Altroz EV to increase it's EV presence, along with the Tiago and Tigor EV variants. These three cars in Tata's electric portfolio will cater for buyers in the sub-Rs 15 lakh segments.
