Tata Harrier’s Colours Other Than The Usual Calisto Copper (Orange) — Is Grey The Best Choice?
Tata Harrier All Colours: Check out all the Tata Harrier colours available, other than orange. Which is the best Tata Harrier colour to buy?
Tata Motors launched the much-awaited the Harrier SUV at a compelling starting price of Rs 12.69 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). Within just 10 days, the company sold 420 Tata Harrier units in the country; certainly a good start for the 'benchmark SUV'.
Most of these examples are Orange in colour, or more precisely, Calisto Copper. As the SUV was marketed in the very same colour from its first debut as the H5X concept avatar back at Auto Expo 2018, many are unaware about the other colour choices available for the Tata Harrier.
We have already driven the Tata Harrier and you can check out our detailed review; plus the must-know pros and cons of the SUV here.
The Tata Harrier is available in five colours: Orcus White, Telesto Grey, Ariel Silver, Thermisto Gold and of course, Calisto Copper. Since the vehicle is still at its early stages of sales, colours other than Calisto Copper have a higher waiting period (also the reason why you don't see them at all). Furthermore, we do not think that Orange is the most fitting colour choice for the Harrier. Here's a brief summary of the colours available:
Orcus White
As per data, four out of 10 cars sold in India are white. Indians' love for white cars started ever since the introduction of the first-generation Maruti 800 (SS80). With the gloss-black design elements at the front and rear, Orcus White creates an interesting contrast to the Tata Harrier's body.
Ariel Silver
Silver is the second-favourite colour choice in the Indian automotive market. Opting the Tata Harrier in the clean-looking Ariel Silver does not make the SUV stand apart, but oozes a subtle sense of being premium.
Thermisto Gold
Even though the shade has 'Gold' in its title, it is more brownish with a flake of silver unveiling in direct sunlight. Thermisto Gold is an interesting choice for the Harrier as it changes tones in various lighting conditions. It also goes well with the Harrier's wooden interior trim.
Telesto Grey
With a name that resembles Porsche's exclusive PTS (paint-to-sample) colour, Girgio Telesto, the Tata Harrier's Grey shade is definitely a 'stealth' choice. However, the silver wheels do not do justice to the overall appeal offered by Telesto Grey.
Thoughts On Tata Harrier's Colours
As sales are going strong, many are eager to see the Tata Harrier in colours other than popular Orange shade. In our opinion, Telesto Grey, complemented with Carbon Black (Dark Grey) wheels, could be the best colour choice for the Tata Harrier. What's your choice? Let us know in the comment section below.
