Renault Triber Deliveries Commence In India: Bookings & Other Details
Renault has begun deliveries of the recently launched Triber MPV in Mumbai. The first four owners are Mumbai based customers who had booked the MPV for a token amount of Rs 11,000. Deliveries of the Renault Triber have also started via its network of over 350 showrooms across the country.
Renault launched the Triber on 28 August with prices between Rs 4.95 lakh and Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The MPV is available in four different variants - the RXE, the RXL, the RXT, and the RXZ.
The recently launched Renault Triber features a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 72bhp of power and 96Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The company plans to launch a variant with an automatic transmission early next year.
The Triber is a versatile vehicle that is available with a seven-seat configuration, but can be configured to carry two, four, five, six or seven passengers, depend on the need. The vehicle offers high ground clearance, and a large cabin.
The MVP features aggressive styling on the outside, making the vehicle look and feel more like a crossover. The interiors feature a touchscreen infotainment system that runs on Renault's MediaNAV interface, features GPS navigation, and is Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatible.
Safety features on the new Renault triber include reverse parking sensors, ABS, seat belt reminders, ISOFIX child seat anchors, speeding alerts, and twin airbags. Safety features are standard across all variants.
The Renault Triber can be booked over the company's website, and at authorized dealers for an amount of Rs 11,000. A dealer at Mumbai has confirmed that the waiting period is 15 days across all variants. Delivery times and waiting periods will differ across the country.
The Renault Triber is part of the company's product offensive strategy, and has been built with the aim of doubling sales to 2,00,000 units annually, in India. Renault is working towards being present rural markets, and as part of its plans Renault will actively target 330 rural towns across 18 states.
Thoughts Of Renault Starting Deliveries
Kudos to Renault to have begun deliveries. Deliveries and after sales support are to factors that play an important role in brand loyalty. Renault seems to have got the deliveries part in place. We hope their strategy turns fortunes around for them. Kudos to the lads at Renault.
