Nissan Kicks Launch LIVE Updates — Launched At Rs 9.55 Lakh
Nissan India is all set to launch the new Kicks five-seater SUV in the country. The India-spec Nissan Kicks was first unveiled back in October 2018 and the Indian market immediately starting having a liking towards the quirky SUV. The Nissan Kicks we are getting in India is not just a cost-cut version of its international sibling. Instead, it has been developed keeping the Indian driving requirements and road conditions in mind. To make things more interesting, the Nissan Kicks's Indian version is actually bigger than the one sold in foreign markets.

As per reports, the Nissan Kicks will be a replacement to the ageing Terrano. In this regard, the Kicks also comes with a host of comfort and safety equipment on the inside; something which the Nissan Terrano lacks by a good margin.
Expected prices for the Nissan Kicks is in the range of Rs 11 – 15 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). Bookings were already started last month for an amount of Rs 25,000.
Once launched, the Nissan Kicks will be a strong rival to the Hyundai Creta, Mahindra XUV500, Renault Captur and even the upcoming Tata Harrier.

No News About An Automatic Variant
The Nissan Kicks gets a manual transmission as the standard choice — 6-speed for the diesel variant and 5-speed for the petrol. Regarding an automatic variant, nothing has been shared yet.

Nissan India shared that many of the equipment and components used in the Kicks are shared with various other premium models from the Japanese brand. For instance, the 8.0-inch touchscreen unit is borrowed straight from the 2019 Nissan Altima sedan.
