Design & Styling
The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is a premium six-seater MPV offering, based on the Ertiga model. The premium MPV comes with a number of changes and updates to both the exterior and interiors. This allows it to be easily differentiated from the standard version.
These updates include a refreshed front fascia, which comes with a brand new grille design. The front grille is finished in black with a thick chrome strip running across its centre. Maruti Suzuki has also updated the headlamps on the XL6 with projector headlamps. The headlamps cluster also come integrated with LED DRLs and turn signals.
The side and rear profile of the Maruti Suzuki XL6, however, remain pretty much unchanged. Although it does receive minor updates to the alloy wheel design and the LED tail lights
Most of the major changes on the XL6 have been made to its interiors. The cabin of the Maruti Suzuki XL6 is finished in black, with silver accents on the dashboard and the central console. The seats are finished in black leatherette upholstery and offer a premium yet sporty feel.
However, the most important difference is the presence of individual captain seats on the second row of the XL6. The six-seater MPV comes in a 2+2+2 seating configuration, adding to its premium appeal.
Engine Specifications
The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is powered by a single engine option. This includes a BS-VI compliant 1.5-litre ‘K15-series' petrol engine; which recently debuted on the Ertiga MPV.
The updated BS-VI engine produces 104bhp at 6000rpm and 138Nm of torque at 4400rpm. Transmission option will come in the form of either a five-speed manual or a four-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox.
The Maruti Suzuki XL6 will also receive the company's mild-hybrid (SHVS) technology, along with the petrol engine. This will allow the XL6 to offer better refinement, performance and also be more fuel-efficient as well.

Features
Maruti Suzuki XL6 is also offered with a host of additional features and equipment, as compared to the Ertiga. This includes the brand's latest 7.0-inch touchscreen ‘SmartPlay Studio' infotainment system, LED fog lamps, headlights, DRLs and tail lights. It will also come with features such as electrically-foldable ORVMs, black leatherette seats and automatic climate control among a host of other options.
In terms of safety, the Maruti Suzuki XL6 is offered with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, hill-hold assist, ESP, seat-belt reminder, high-speed alert, reverse parking sensors and a host of others as well.

Maruti Suzuki has already started accepting bookings for the XL6 MPV in the Indian market for an amount of Rs 25,000. Deliveries for the new premium MPV will begin immediately as well.
Competitors
