Maruti Suzuki launched the S-Cross facelift model, back in 2017. At the time of the launch the company replaced the 1.6-litre diesel ‘DDiS 320' engine, with the smaller 1.3-litre ‘DDiS 200' mild-hybrid diesel power unit, featured on the current model. However, the company has confirmed that they will discontinue the 1.3-litre diesel engine from all the models, and will not carry forward to make it BS-VI compliant.
