Based on the SsangYong Tivoli sold in global markets, the Mahindra XUV300 is arguably the best compact-SUV on the market right now. The XUV300 offers incredible value for money in terms of both features and driving dynamics. Is it the right choice for you, especially when the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is on the market? — we explain.
Speaking more about the features, the Mahindra Marazzo comes with a lot that is not seen in other vehicles available in the price range. Steering modes, sunroof, two-zone climate control, all-wheel disc brakes, seven airbags and various other equipment are part of the overall package.
We have already driven the compact-SUV and it really impressed us with its overall driving experience. To get the complete details of the Mahindra XUV300, we recommend you check out detailed review report.
Powering the new Mahindra XUV300 is either a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine or a 1.5-litre diesel (the same unit that powers the Mahindra Marazzo MPV). The petrol engine makes a commendable 110bhp and 200Nm of torque which the diesel unit churns out 115bhp and a strong 300Nm of torque; the highest in its segment and also the best for what you pay.
Both engines come mated to a six-speed manual as standard, but an automatic variant is currently in the works — here's what you should know.
The Mahindra XUV300 competes in one of the most active automotive market segments in India. However, we think the XUV300 is definitely the sure winner compared to the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Honda WR-V.
Thoughts On The Mahindra XUV300
As mentioned before, the Mahindra XUV300 could be the best option in its class. It comes with enough and more on the inside while also being fun-to-drive. Would you buy one without a second thought? Let us know in the comment section below.
