Korean Designer Features Hot Water Bath In Car — Where’s The Rest Of The House?

And in other news, Korean designer Hanbeom Lee has designed a vehicle that features a cabin equipped with a hot water tub meant for city drives.

Although we felt that the sentence you just read should have constituted the entire article, we are compelled to give you more information.

Now luxury cars that offer an unbelievable amount of 'comfort' have been around for a long time. We all recognize, and associate names like Rolls Royce and Bentley with the ultimate vehicles for comfort and comfort add-ons but this one beats all of them put together.

If this Korean Hanbeom Lee fellow is to be taken seriously, he's come up with the uber cool of cool. Like featuring a hot water tub in the cabin of a car!

The Korean designer has designed a concept car based on Honda's popular model, the City, and he has re-christened Onsen. The all-electric small car has a spacious cabin thats meant to an onboard hot spring.

The small electric car has loads of cabin space thanks to it's all-electric powertrain, Half the cabin features a bench styled seat, and the other half features a cylindrical cell that uses gimbal technology to remain suspended within the body of the car. The cell is watertight - it better be!

We hear that the cell can be filled with water at the press of a button, and while the tank fills, one can enjoy a massage session on the 'bench' - convienent! An outlet funnels out the water on the 'bath of sorts' is done, again, at the push of a button.

Dubbed as an 'autonomous bath-able vehicle', this is one of the weirdest designs we have seen or heard of. Apparently designers have a lot of time and idea to experiment with after the advent of autonomous vehicles.

While we have seen many autonomous concepts that give us an insight to the future of mobility, we are sure this one in particular, will ever see the light of the day.

Thoughts About The Hanbeom Lee Design

For starters we have no idea what Mr Lee was thinking about. May be he likes to swim, may he just likes being in a Jacuzzi. We assume, because he is a designer, he spends a lot of time traveling. But what's with the bath tub in a car? This sounds like a Russian thing to do!

Our biggest concern is where is the water stored? And what use is the cylinder cell if we're not soaking in it? Also how many peeps can we fit in the bath?

We cannot wrap our heads around this. Next level bloke! Some one give us his number. Where he at?
