Hyundai is yet to officially announce the performance figures of the new Venue. However, based on the engine specifications on offer, along with the weight, dimensions and the performance of its competitors, we have made some assumptions.

The top-spec Hyundai Venue with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol should be able to reach a top-speed of around 160km/h. The other petrol and diesel options on offer should be easily able to pull the compact-SUV up to around 150km/h.

In terms of acceleration, the Hyundai Venue should be able to sprint to 100km/h from idle in around 11 seconds. The base petrol could take a bit longer, due to the lower power output and torque availability.

Again, these figures are just assumptions at this time. We will share the exact figures, once we get our hands on the Venue SUV soon.
