Hyundai Venue Will Be Introduced With Dual-Tone Paint Scheme Soon: We Have All The Details
Korean automotive manufacturer, Hyundai will be launching the Venue with a dual-tone paint scheme on the top-trims. The dual-tone paint scheme was offered with SX trims of both diesel and petrol variants when the compact-SUV was launched.
According to Autocar India the dual-tone paint scheme on the Venue were offered with 1.0-litre petrol SX and 1.4-litre diesel SX variants only. The petrol manual SX(O) trim, diesel SX(O) and petrol automatic SX+ trims will be the new trims that will be added to the dual-tone list.
The Venue 1.2-litre petrol model doesn't get dual-tone paint shade options as this engine is only available in the lower E and S variants. Also, the 1.0-litre petrol-automatic was never offered with a dual-tone option until now.
Hyundai is offering Venue with three engine options: a 1.2-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 82bhp and 115Nm of torque, a 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine churning out 118bhp and 172Nm of torque, and a 1.4-litre four-cylinder diesel engine putting out 89bhp and 220Nm of torque.
The 1.2 petrol is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the 1.0 turbo-petrol and 1.4 diesel unit get a 6-speed manual. The Venue is also offered with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission with 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine.
The company has also confirmed that the Venue's 1.4-litre diesel engine will be replaced with a 1.5-litre diesel unit that is featured on the Kia Seltos, after the implementation of the BS-VI emission norms.
The Hyundai Venue rival against the Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport and Maruti segment bestseller Suzuki Vitara Brezza in the compact-SUV space. We expect a price hike of Rs 15,000 on the soon to be launched dual-tone options offered on the top trims.
