Hyundai Aura India Launch Confirmed For 21 January 2020: Details And Expected Price
Hyundai is all set to launch the all-new Aura on 21 January 2020. Hyundai's new compact sedan is slated to replace the company's Xcent models. Deliveries of the Hyundai Aura are expected to begin in January as well.
The soon-to-be launched Hyundai Aura shares its underpinnings with the Grand i10 Nios. The vehicle features a new all-black honeycomb grille, twin boomerang shaped DRLs, new arrow shaped fog lamps, and a pair of projector headlamps.
The Aura also features two character lines on the body, a set of R15 diamond cut alloy wheels, a sporty rear bumper, a sharp set of LED tail lights that feature a 3D outer lens. Hyundai's latest offering also features a shark-fin antenna that adds to the aesthetics of the compact sedan.
The company has not revealed any details about the interiors of the Aura, however the sedan is expected to arrive with all the latest creature comforts and features as per induatry standards.
We expect the all-new Hyundai Aura to feature an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an Arakmys sound system, eco coating technology, a fully digital instrument cluster, steering mounted audio controls, wireless charging, and adjustable headrests for the rear passengers.
The Aura will arrive with with two petrol engine option and with one diesel engine option. Petrol options are a 1.2-litre Kappa unit that produces 83bhp of power and 113Nm of torque. The second is a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit that produces 120bhp of power and 172Nm of torque.
The diesel engine is a 1.2-litre unit that produces 75bhp of power and 190Nm of torque. Transmission options include a five-speed manual and automatics as well. The Hyundai Aura is expected to be priced between Rs 6.0 lakh and Rs 9.0 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The Aura is basically the next-generation Hyundai Xcent. We expect the Aura to be loaded with features and creature comforts. Hyundai set the bar very high when they launched the Venue, and the Indian consumer will expect more from the company going forward.
