Ford India has silently updated the mid-spec variants of its EcoSport offering. The Ford EcoSport Titanium and Titanium+ variants now come with an updated instrument cluster.
The new instrument cluster has been borrowed from the top-spec 'S'variant of the EcoSport lineup. The new premium cluster now comes with chrome rings around the speedometer and tachometer. It also features a 4.2-inch MID unit as standard between the two gauges.
Apart from the updated instrument cluster on the Titanium and Titanium+ models of the Ford EcoSport, there are no other changes. The new instrument cluster is available on both the petrol and diesel versions of the variants.
The Ford EcoSport Titanium variants continue to be powered by 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine. The petrol engine churns out 121bhp and 150Nm of torque. The diesel engine, on the other hand, produces 100bhp and 205Nm of torque. Both engines come mated to a standard five-speed manual gearbox while the petrol gets the additional six-speed torque converter automatic transmission as optional.
The top-spec EcoSport 'S' variant comes powered by Ford's award-winning 1.0-litre three-cylinder EcoBoost petrol engine. It produces 125bhp and 170Nm of torque and is mated to a standard five-speed manual gearbox. The 'S' variant, continues to be offered with the same 1.5-litre diesel engine.
The Titanium trim continues to provide features such as satin aluminium roof rails, projector headlamps, LED DRLs, 16-inch alloy wheels, 60:40 split seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, ambient lighting and premium fabric seats.
The Titanium+ variant of the Ford EcoSport will get additional features including bigger 17-inch alloy wheels, glove box illumination, premium leather interior, rearview camera, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, paddle shifters, cruise control, six airbags and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
The Ford EcoSport Titanium petrol variant is priced at Rs 9.55 lakh while the petrol Titanium+ is priced at Rs 10.52 lakh. The diesel variants of the Titanium and Titanium+ trims are priced at Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 11.04 lakh, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom (Delhi).
