Volvo Delivers Twelve Units Of The XC40 In Bangalore On A Single Day
Volvo India delivers 12 units of the newly launched XC40 in Bangalore. Volvo’s Martial Motors in Bangalore has been receiving one of the highest amounts of bookings in the country.
Volvo India's Martial Motors dealership in Bangalore has received among the highest bookings for the new XC40 SUV in the country. The Bangalore dealership today has delivered 12 units of the newly launched SUV.
The Volvo XC40 was launched in India recently at Rs 39.90 lakh, ex-showroom (India). The XC40 is the smallest SUV offering from the Swedish car manufacturer. The SUV carries forward the company's signature upright design.
Charles Frump, MD, Volvo Car India, stated, "The response to the XC40 has been very encouraging. The XC40 is ideal for the Urban landscape like Bengaluru and has a host of features which are very relevant for the city."
"I am sure the demand for XC40 in Karnataka will increase even more as these cars are seen on roads."
He further added, "I would like to thank our customers here, as Bengaluru is an important market for us and the success is a sign that we made a good choice to have the Volvo Cars assembly unit here."

The new Volvo XC40 is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine. It produces 190bhp and 400Nm of torque. The engine is further mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, powering all-four wheels.
The new XC40 in India is available only in a single R-Design trim. The SUV comes with a host of features, both on the exterior and interiors.
Exterior features on the new Volvo XC40 include a distinctive black front grille, updated headlamps with a smoked effect and Thor's hammer LED DRL. The SUV gets a dual-tone paint scheme, with blacked-out roof and A-Pillars.
Interiors features on the XC40 SUV: nine-inch infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, virtual instrument cluster and a panoramic sunroof.
Safety equipment on the newly launched SUV includes lane keep assist, blind spot warning, pilot assist, emergency braking, traction control, ESP, hill descent control, adaptive cruise control and eight airbags.

The XC40 is the most affordable SUV offering from Volvo currently in India. The XC40 SUV in India rivals the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA and the Audi Q3.
