The new VW Beetle was first launched globally back in 2010, but wasn't able to keep up with the iconic status of the original Beetle. The new Beetle was launched in India in 2015 and commanded a massive price tag of Rs 28.73 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai).

We hope VW will bring the Jetta back to the Indian market based on the new platform, but it's not going to be anytime sooner.
