Top-Selling Two-Wheelers July 2018: The sales report of the best selling bikes and scooters in July 2018 has been released. Without any surprise, the Honda Activa has attained the top position in India's two-wheeler market. But the most interesting part is that the top-five best-selling bikes/scooters of July 2018 remain the same as it was in June 2018.

When it comes to two-wheelers, India is a huge market for major foreign brands including Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha. Another recent trend which was observed is that scooter sales are declining at a rapid pace compared to motorcycles. The primary reason for this is the introduction of new and better motorcycles from leading brands in India, at an affordable price tag.

That said, here are best-selling bikes as of July 2018:

The Honda Activa, if not the best-selling two-wheeler on the market, will definitely be the most popular scooter in India. The Activa has been on sale for more than 15 years and has now reached its fifth iteration – the Activa 5G. Compared to other scooters on the market, the Honda Activa features a metal body and now comes with full-LED headlamps and a 4-in-1 locking system.

The Hero Splendor has always been a top-seller in the two-wheeler market and occasionally attains the lead in the sales report. The Splendor has been around for 20 years and still remains as a favourite in the budget motorcycle category. The bike has gone through several updates over the years and additions such as self-start, alloy wheels and vibrant colour choices make it a budget motorcycle, worth considering.

Hero HF Deluxe

The Hero HF Deluxe sits below the Splendor in the brand's product portfolio. The HF Deluxe features enough styling elements for its segment and is available in dual-tone paint schemes too. Mechanically, it shares the same 97.2cc engine as the Splendor and is assisted by self-start. There is also an HF Deluxe ECO which features a green paint scheme and a rather odd-looking mirror design.

Hero Passion

The Hero Passion is another iconic model from the Indian two-wheeler brand and it is available in three formats: PRO, PRO 110 and X PRO. Bajaj CT 100

The Bajaj CT 100 is a budget motorcycle which is really popular for its mileage figures. The CT 100 has been on the market for many years and still hasn't gone down in sales. The rest of the major two-wheeler brands are of Indian-origin only, except for Honda.
