Tata Motors Impact Design 2.0: Tata Motors has revealed more details on the Impact Design 2.0 language.
We had already reported about Tata Motors' new Impact Design 2.0 language making its debut at the Auto Expo 2018. Now, more details have been revealed about the new design philosophy, which will be an evolved version of the currently available design which can be seen on the Nexon, Tiago, Hexa and Tigor.
Tata Motors has teased its new product lineup for the Auto Expo 2018, and the Impact Design 2.0 is expected to debut with the new premium hatchback which will rival the likes of Maruti Baleno and Hyundai Elite i20. The company has teased a glimpse of the new design philosophy.
By looking at the teaser, we can say that the new Impact Design 2.0 will be smooth, flowing and clutter free with striking looks. Based on the current design philosophy, the new design language will be sharper and bolder which makes the upcoming Tata passenger cars more exciting and stylish.

Tata Motors states that the upcoming Tata cars will sport a stylish front grille which blends with the headlamps, diamond-shaped windows and Tri-Arrow pattern. The new vehicles will feature large wheel sizes and flared wheel arches which leads to a strong road presence.
The Impact Design was a big hit in the Indian market with products such as Nexon, Hexa, Tiago and Tigor. All these models also offer premium interior with clean design, which was a big improvement when compared to the previous models. The build quality also improved with the introduction of the new design philosophy.
The new Impact Design 2.0 will make its debut with the new premium hatchback codenamed as X451. The same design language will be applied on the upcoming new SUV codenamed as Q501, which will be based on the Land Rover Discovery Sport's platform. The SUV has been spotted several times on Indian roads.
Apart from the two new passenger vehicles, Tata Motors will also showcase its new range of commercial vehicles. The teaser image reveals that Tata Motors will debut a new Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) and Medium Commercial Vehicle (MCV) at the Auto Expo 2018.
