Nissan Terra SUV Revealed — Specifications, Features And Images
Nissan Terra SUV revealed: Nissan has revealed the all-new Terra SUV in China ahead of its debut at the Beijing Motor Show.
Japanese automaker Nissan has revealed the new Terra SUV in China as a left-hand-drive model. The all-new Terra SUV will make its global debut at the upcoming Beijing Motor Show in China. The new Terra is a full-size SUV unlike the X-Trail and other small SUVs from the stable of the Japanese automaker.
The all-new Nissan Terra is based on the body-on-frame platform which also underpins the Navara pickup and the Mercedes X-Class. The overall design of the Nissan Terra looks rugged, and the company is pitching it as a 4x4 SUV against the likes of Ford Endeavour (Everest in some global markets) and the Toyota Fortuner.
The front fascia of the new Nissan Terra is similar to the Navara, but the rear profile of the SUV is completely new. The SUV features Nissan's signature V-grille, newly designed bumper, LED daytime running lights and projector lights. The tail lamp cluster is new with a chrome strip running across the tailgate.

Nissan has not revealed the technical specifications of the Terra, but it is likely to draw power from a 2.3-litre four-cylinder diesel engine. The engine could be mated to an automatic transmission going by the interior image of the SUV. Apart from that, there are no details available on the technical front.
DriveSpark's Thoughts On The Nissan Terra SUV
The Nissan Terra is a full-size SUV from the stable of the Japanese automaker. It is underpinned by the same body-on-frame platform which makes it a rugged SUV, unlike the more road-biased X-Trail. Nissan has not revealed its plan to bring the Terra to India. But considering the booming SUV segment in the Indian market, the Terra could be an interesting product in the country which will rival the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and even the Isuzu MU-X.
