Hyundai Creta 2018 Launched In India; Prices Start At Rs 9.43 Lakh
Hyundai Creta 2018 launched in India: Hyundai has launched the new facelifted Creta 2018 in the Indian market. The prices for the Hyundai Creta 2018 starts at Rs 9.43 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The new 2018 Hyundai Creta features an updated exterior design and new features.
The Hyundai Creta 2018 is available in five trim levels with three engine options. The base petrol variant of the Hyundai Creta 2018 is priced at Rs 9.43 lakh and the top-spec diesel model carries a price tag of Rs 15.03 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom (Delhi). On the design front, the new Hyundai Creta 2018 features a larger cascading front grille, a new front bumper, newly designed fog lamp housing and a prominent silver skid plate. The 2018 Creta also gets a new dual-tone exterior finish, and a revamped rear bumper.
The Hyundai Creta 2018 is available in seven colour options: White, Orange, Black, Silver Blue, Red, White/Black (dual-tone) and Orange/Black (dual-tone).
The interior of the Hyundai Creta 2018 remains the same except for the upgraded equipment for each variant. The base E variant now comes with features such as height adjustable driver's seat and front sliding armrest.
The top-spec SX (O) trim gets an electric sunroof, cruise control, six-way adjustable driver's seat, smart key band, wireless charging and six airbags.
The Hyundai Creta 2018 draws power from the same 1.4-litre diesel, 1.6-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel engine. The 1.4-litre diesel engine produces 88.7bhp, the 1.6-litre petrol unit is good for 121bhp and the 1.6-litre diesel engine churns out 126bhp.
The 1.4-litre engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox while both the 1.6-litre engines also get the 6-speed automatic gearbox. Hyundai states that the Creta 2018 has a class-leading NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) performance.
The tops-spec SX (O) variant of the Hyundai Creta 2018 misses out on the automatic gearbox. So, if you want to buy the Creta 2018 with the automatic gearbox, you will miss out on features such as an electric sunroof and wireless charging.
