Honda Amaze Specifications

The new Honda Amaze retains its current powertrain options i.e. - a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Honda claims that its new powertrains are more efficient than before so expect a rise in mileage.

The 1.2-litre petrol engine continues to produce 87bhp @6,000rpm and 109Nm of torque @ 4,500rpm. The 1.5-litre diesel engine is expected to get a slight bump in power compared to the current Honda Amaze's 98bhp and 200Nm of torque output. Both petrol and diesel models are mated to a five-speed gearbox and will also get a CVT automatic gearbox option in the new second-generation Honda Amaze.

The second-generation of the new Honda Amaze is larger and features a bolder design that makes its look a lot more like its larger sibling the City sedan, which is a rather good look.

Hopefully, the new Honda Amaze 2018 will see the Japanese carmaker get a hold of more customers with its larger size and bolder design.
