Maserati Ghibli 2018 Launched In India; Prices Start At Rs 1.34 Crore
Maserati Ghibli 2018 Launched in India. Priced at Rs 1.34 Crores. The new 2018 version comes in three trims; Diesel, GranSport and GranLusso. The new Maserati Ghibli gets a host of new features.
Maserati Ghibli 2018 version launched in India. The 2018 version of the Maserati Ghibli comes in three trims: Diesel, GranSport and GranLusso. The models are priced at Rs 1.33, Rs 1.38 and 1.42 crore, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom (Delhi).
The 2018 Maserati Ghibli is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbocharged dieselengine producing 275hp and 600Nm of torque. This power unit is mated to an advanced 8-speed automatic transmission. The engine is developed exclusively by Maserati in collaboration with VM Motori.
The new Ghibli Diesel powers from 0-100km/h in 6.3sec and has a top speed of over 250km/h. The new engine is homologated for Euro VI emission norms. The Ghibli further uses Auto Start-Stop and AdBlue technologies to reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption by an extra six percent.

The Ghibli GranLusso gets an enhanced exterior finish. The interiors feature luxurious comfort-seats with 12-way power adjustment and memory function. The GranLusso also gets the option of either full premium leather or Ermenegildo Zegna Silk Edition upholstery.
The GranSport gets 12-way adjustable sports seatswith memory function. The sporty version of the Ghibli also comes with grippy sports steering wheel, paddle shifts and Inox sport foot pedals.
The front and rear bumpers on each trim have been restyled to provide their own unique identity. The 2018 Ghibli comes standard with: adaptive full-LED headlamps, glare-free matrix high-beam, integrated vehicle control system and skyhook suspension system. The Ghibli also gets active Safety systems such as Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS).
The new 2018 Maserati Ghibli will be potential rivals to the BMW 730d, Mercedes-Benz S350d and the Jaguar XJ 3.0 diesel.

Maserati has not seen much success in India, mainly due to its German rivals. With the launch of the new 2018 Maserati Ghibli, the Italian company hopes to break the German dominance in this competitive luxury sedan segment.
