Mahindra Marazzo MPV Launch Date Revealed
Mahindra & Mahindra recently revealed the Marazzo moniker for the upcoming MPV. Now, the company has announced that the Mahindra Marazzo MPV will be launched in the Indian market on September 3, 2018. The Marazzo was expected to be launched during the festive season, but Mahindra has decided to launch the MPV sooner than expected.
The Mahindra Marazzo will be offered in both seven-seater and eight-seater versions. The overall design of the Marazzo is based on the shark. The teaser images reveal that the MPV will feature a chrome toothed front grille, LED tail light cluster and shark-fin antenna.
Mahindra has also revealed the interior of the Marazzo MPV. The interior of the MPV gets an all-black dashboard with silver accents. The cabin gets a beige colour which goes well with the design. The seven-seater gets two captain seats while the eight-seater model features a foldable bench seat.
Other prominent features of the interior include a large touchscreen infotainment system, dual-pod instrument cluster, MID and roof-mounted AC vents. Mahindra claims that the Marazzo MOV will be equipped with segment-first surround cool technology. The overall design of the interior looks premium.
Mahindra is yet to reveal the technical details of the Marazzo. But we expect the upcoming MPV to draw power from a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The engine will be mated to a manual or an optional automatic gearbox. Mahindra might also introduce the petrol variant of the MPV at a later stage.
The Marazzo MPV will be a crucial product for Mahindra in the Indian market. The Marazzo has been designed and developed by Mahindra North America Technical Centre (MNATC) in Troy, Michigan and Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) in Chennai. We expect the build quality of the Marazzo to be of global standard.
Thoughts On The Mahindra Marazzo MPV
Mahindra is all set to launch the Marazzo MPV in the Indian market in September. The Marazzo is one of the most-awaited MPV after the new Maruti Ertiga. When launched in India, the Mahindra Marazzo will rival the likes of Toyota Innova Crysta and the upcoming Maruti Ertiga facelift.
