Mahindra Marazzo MPV Fully Revealed Ahead Of Launch
Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to launch the Marazzo MPV in the Indian market on September 3, 2018. Ahead of that the Mahindra Marazzo has been fully revealed. Yes, TeamBHP has spotted the Marazzo MPV and the test drive vehicles are already in the dealerships.
The Mahindra Marazzo features a design language inspired from the Shark. Up front, the Mahindra Marazzo features a shark tooth grille with vertical slats, LED projector headlamps, fog lamps with chrome accents and muscular bumper. Overall, the design looks premium and upmarket.
The side profile of the Mahindra Marazzo features sporty alloy wheels, ORVMs with integrated turn indicators and a chrome lining running across the windows. The door handles are also finished in chrome. The rear of the MPV gets a chrome strip running across the boot, shark LED tail light cluster and body cladding.
The Mahindra Marazzo also features a floating roof design. The Marazzo MPV will be offered in both seven-seater and eight-seater variants. The seven-seater model will be equipped with two captain seats and the eight-seater model will feature a bench seat in the second-row.
The Mahindra Marazzo is likely to draw power from a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 125bhp and 300Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard and Mahindra might also offer an automatic gearbox. The petrol variant of the MPV is said to be launched at a later phase.
The interior of the Mahindra Marazzo will feature an all-black dashboard and beige colour for seats and doors. The cabin will also get roof AC vents with segment-first surround cooling technology. Expect the Marazzo to come with standard safety features such as twin airbags and ABS with EBD.
Thoughts On The Mahindra Marazzo
The Mahindra Marazzo will be a premium offering from the Indian market and it features an all-new design language. The Marazzo will rival the Toyota Innova Crysta and the upcoming new Maruti Ertiga. The prices for the Marazzo is likely to start under Rs 10 lakh ex-showroom.
