Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra recently revealed the Marazzo moniker for its upcoming U321 MPV. The Mahindra Marazzo will be a premium offering and will take on the Toyota Innova Crysta. Now, the company has revealed the interior of the Marazzo MPV.
The dashboard design of the Mahindra Marazzo looks upmarket and premium and features a three-spoke steering wheel with controls for entertainment and cruise control. The MPV also features a large instrument cluster with blue backlight and large dials for speedometer and tachometer.
The instrument cluster also gets a large MID to relay vital information. The centre console features a large touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity options such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The centre console also houses the climate control and AC vents. The dashboard also gets silver accents.
The Mahindra Marazzo is based on a monocoque chassis which offers better rigidity and smooth driving experience. The overall build quality of the MPV is expected to be of global standard.
The Mahindra Marazzo is expected to be launched during the festive season of this year. Being a premium product, we can expect the Mahindra Marazzo to be priced in the range of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 15 lakh ex-showroom. The Mahindra Marazzo will rival the Toyota Innova Crysta and the upcoming Maruti Ertiga facelift.
Mahindra is yet to reveal the specifications of the Marazzo MPV. We expect the Marazzo to draw power from a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 121bhp and 300Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
