Mahindra Marazzo Receives 10,000 Bookings Within A Month — Waiting Period Now Six Weeks
Mahindra recently launched their Marazzo MPV in the Indian market in September 2018. Now, a month after its launch Mahindra has announced that the MPV has already received more than 10,000 bookings.
The Mahindra Marazzo has created quite an impression with its shark-inspired design. The MPV already demands a waiting period of over six weeks. The Marazzo is said to be Mahindra's global product and is expected to be exported to international markets as well.
The Mahindra Marazzo comes with the largest footprint seen on any other model from the Indian manufacturer. The MPV comes with bold exterior features and aggressive styling with several bits inspired by the shark theme.
The front of the Marazzo MPV comes with chrome-toothed grille, double barrel headlamps with pilot lights and an eye-shaped fog lamps with integrated LED lights.
The MPV also comes equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, shark-tail-inspired tail lamp design and large ORVMs. The tail lights are further connected to each other with a thick chrome slat running across the rear of the MPV.
Veejay Nakra, Chief of Sales and Marketing, Automotive Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, "We thank our customers for the tremendous response and are delighted with the number of bookings received for the Marazzo within just one month."
He further added, "This reaffirms the immense popularity Marazzo has garnered in such a short time. Marazzo has been highly appreciated by the auto community and buyers alike for its excellent value proposition."
The Mahindra Marazzo is available in both seven and eight-seater configuration. The seven-seater Marazzo features individual pilot seats in the middle row while the eight-seater variant comes with a 40:20:40 split folding seats.

The Marazzo is powered by a single 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine tuned to produce 121bhp and 300Nm of torque. The engine is further mated to a standard six-speed manual gearbox without the option of an automatic transmission.
Mahindra, though, is said to be working on two new variants of the Marazzo; one with a petrol engine while another featuring an automatic transmission system. Both these new versions are expected to be launched sometime soon.
Thoughts On The Mahindra Marazzo
The Mahindra Marazzo has been received well in the Indian market. The MPV undercuts the more popular Toyota Innova Crysta with a base price of Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom (Delhi). In India, the Mahindra Marazzo takes on rivals such as the Toyota Innova Crysta and the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
