Lexus LS 500h launched in India. The Lexus LS 500h for India is priced at Rs. 1.77 crore ex-showroom (India). The fifth-generation LS is the flagship sedan in the Lexus lineup and it debuted at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show. The arrival of the Lexus LS 500h in India sees the Japanese carmaker's range in India rise to a total of five cars.

Lexus LS 500h Engine & Specifications
The all-new Lexus LS 500h is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine along with two electric motors which combine to produce a total of 354bhp. The hybrid powerplant of the new Lexus LS 500h is mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox which sends power to all four wheels. The Lexus returns a claimed mileage of 15.38kpl.
The Lexus LS 500h sprints from 0–100kph in 5.4 seconds and has a top speed of 250kph despite weighing in at around 2.2 tonnes.
The new Lexus LS 500h measures in at 5,235mm long, 1,900mm wide, 1,450mm tall, and has a 3,125mm long wheelbase.
Lexus LS 500h Design & Features
The new Lexus LS 500h carries forward the Japanese carmaker's rather distinct and eye-catching design language.
Up front, the flagship LS 500h features Lexus' massive spindle grille which is flanked on either side by triple LED headlamps with an adaptive high-beam system. Sitting directly underneath the headlights are harpoon-shaped LED daytime running lights.
At the sides, a sharp character line runs across the car starting between the headlights and the grille up front and ending at the tail lights. The Lexus LS 500h sits on 20-inch alloy wheels which are shodwith 245/45 R 20 tyres.
The rear end of the LS 500h is dominated by the LED combination taillights which feature a linear LED design thatgives the flagship Lexus an instantly recognisable visual signature.
The hands-free power boot can beeasily opened by triggering a sensorunderneath the rear bumper with your footwhile carrying the smart key and it opens up to reveal a 430-litre boot.
Inside, the Lexus LS 500h features leather upholstery and the steering wheel features both hide and wood while both electronically adjustable front seats feature 28-way adjustment.
The massive 12.3-inch infotainment display is controlled using a touchpad (Also seen on NX 300h hybrid SUV. Read our review of the NX 300h here.) and is connected to a DVD player and a 23-speaker Mark and Levinson audio system.
Other features on the new Lexus LS 500h include a heads-up display, four-zone climate control system, 22-way adjustable heated and ventilated rear seats with massage function, a rear-seat entertainment system and wood inserts.
The Lexus LS 500h comes packed to the gills with safety features including up to 14 airbags, anti-lock brakes, electrically controlled brakes, brake assist, adaptive cruise control, traction control, hill start assist with hold function, vehicle stability control along with various other active safety systems.
