The government recently also reported that the two EVs based on the Tigor and the Verito lacked sufficient range. Officials claimed a range of just 80 to 82km on a single charge in city conditions. Tata Motors responded by stating that the stats were clearly mentioned to EESL. The EVs supplied to the government used 17Kw battery packs, with a maximum range between 100 - 120km in the city.
