Ford Freestyle Launched In Bangalore; Prices Start At Rs 5.09 Lakh

Ford launched the CUV in the Indian market just a couple of days ago and it bridges the gap between the Ford Figo and EcoSport very well.

The Ford Freestyle has been made available in four variants - Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium+. The base petrol variant of the Ford Freestyle is priced at Rs 5.09 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 7.89 lakh for the top-spec diesel trim.

Ford Freestyle Design:

The Ford Freestyle has a more aggressive and butch design compared to the Figo hatchback. The front end is characterised by a black hexagonal grille, smoked headlamps, C-shaped fog lamp inserts and a silver skid plate.

The side profile of the Ford Freestyle is defined by black plastic cladding running across the entire side of the car. 15-inch alloy wheels and black graphics further accentuate the good looks. A newly designed tail lamp cluster and skid plate make sure the rear end looks nice and the roof rails on top completes the rugged look of the crossover hatchback.

Ford Freestyle Interiors:

The interior of the Ford Freestyle sports a dual-tone chocolate-on-black dashboard. Taking central position on the dashbaord is the 6.5-inch SYNC3 touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features include an engine start/stop button, automatic climate control, power folding ORVMs, rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, etc.

Ford Freestyle Engines:

The petrol variants draw power from an all-new 1.2-litre Dragon series petrol engine with a maximum power output of 95bhp and a peak torque output of 120Nm. Mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, the Ford Freestyle has a claimed mileage of 19km/l.

Buyers can also choose to have a diesel engine power their car. The 1.5-litre diesel engine puts out a maximum power output of 100bhp and a peak torque output of 250Nm. The diesel variant too is driven by a 5-speed manual gearbox and claimed fuel efficiency is around 24km/l.

Ford Freestyle Safety:

Ford has definitely had safety on top of their priorities. The safety features of the Ford Freestyle include dual-airbags at the front, ABS, EBD, reverse parking sensors, engine immobiliser, seat belt reminder, keyless entry, approach sensors, perimeter theft alarm, etc.

The top-spec variant also gets additional safety features such as Active Rollover Protection (ARP), side and curtain airbags, and Emergency Assistance.

Ford Freestyle Colours:

The Ford Freestyle is available in six colour options: Canyon Ridge, Moondust Silver, Smoke Grey, White Gold, Oxford White, and Absolute Black.

Ford Freestyle Accessories:

Ford is also offering a host of accessories for the Ford Freestyle. A rear spoiler, shark fin antenna, 15-inch alloy wheels, body stripe kit, roof wrap, seat covers, sun blinds, slimline weather shield, etc are some of the accessories on offer.
