The 911 you see here is finished in Porsche's iconic Guards Red paint scheme. The car is also specced with the brand's Weissach package which makes it lighter by almost 30kg from the already-light standard model. The package includes a set of seven-spoke magnesium wheels (20-inch at the front and 21-inch at the rear)finished in a White Gold shade too.

In addition to this, the owner had already put on some personal aesthetic touches on the car prior to its delivery.

The GT2 RS was recently launched in India at Rs 3.88 crore ex-showroom (Delhi). Due to the car's exclusivity, Porsche has allocated only a few units for the country. The car was first showcased at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2017 and is the fastest 911 to date.

The GT2 RS is based on the 991.2 Porsche 911 Turbo S and comes with a 3.8-litre flat-six engine that makes 700bhp and 750Nm of torque. The high-revving engine is coupled to the brand's reputed 7-speed PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung) automatic transmission that makes lightning-fast shifts.

The 911 GT2 RS was also the fastest production car to go around the prestigious Nürburgring Nordschleife racetrack in Germany, until its lap time was broken by the upcoming Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. But still, the GT2 RS remains as one of the best modern supercars available on the market today.

India, although not being an ideal place for high-end supercars (thanks to our roads, laws and taxes), is still a potential market for extra-premium vehicles. It is also not an easy task to take such cars out for a casual drive.

However, in a land where Ferraris, Lamborghinis and even McLarens have found homes, the ‘ultimate 911' will be another welcome addition for all car enthusiasts. As for this very 911 GT2 RS, we expect its owner to take it to the track occasionally rather than just keeping it as a garage queen.
