The GranLusso trim comes with additional touches such as the front spoiler, chrome bumper inserts and body coloured side skirts. The trim also gets GranLusso badges on the wings and new 20-inch Mercurio alloy wheels along with black coloured brake callipers.
The GranSport trim gets sculpted edges for the central front, and side intakes, aerodynamic splitters and the centre spoiler and side inserts come finished in piano black. Additionally, there is an optional exterior carbon package where the ORVMs, door handles, B-pillar cover and front bumper are finished with carbon finished.
Inside the 2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS, the upholstery and leather have been updated and it now comes with an 8.4-inch Maserati Touch Control Plus (MTC+) system that sits in the centre of the dashboard. The system can be operated in three different ways through the multi-touch screen, the rotary control in the central console, or through voice commands.
The Quattroporte GTS is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 522bhp and 710Nm of peak torque. The unit is paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels. The luxury sedan can sprint 100km/h in 4.7 seconds from standstill and can touch a top speed of 310km/h.
The new Maserati Quattroporte GTS will compete with the likes of Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera.
