Bentley just completed the Bentayga W12 India tour to showcase the SUV across India. The Bentley Bentayga W12 which is claimed to be the most powerful production SUV in the world covered more than 5,000 kilometres with stops and client drives in around ten cities, all in just over a month's time.
The drive started in Ahmedabad on January 22, 2018 and ended on February 28, 2018 in Bangalore. Some of the cities covered along the way were: Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Cochin, Trivandrum and Chennai.

This is an SUV which would not break a sweat at high cruising speeds while undertaking long drives such as this one. The six-litre twin-turbo W12 engine produces a maximum power output of 600bhp! And if that number isn't enough, then Bentley is proud to quote that the engine produces a peak torque output of 900Nm.
These figures make the ‘World's most powerful SUV' tag well-earned. An engine with such a high output requires an equally awesome gearbox, and the Bentley Bentayga has just that. Power is transferred to all four-wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The Bentley Bentayga also has a proper four-wheel-drive drivetrain with different drive modes for varying terrain.
The design of the Bentley Bentayga is certainly something that would not appeal to everybody immediately. While some may find it outlandish, some others will find it attractive. This SUV though is not as much about the exterior as it is about the interior. It literally is a palace on wheels.
The Queen of England was the first person to own a Bentley Bentayga! That alone is enough to show what the Bentayga is all about. Every Bentley is handcrafted and built to the buyer's tastes and preferences. The customer gets to choose from almost any colour they wants to have, explaining why it takes six months to build one of these behemoths.
An eight-inch touch-screen system with 60GB inbuilt memory, navigation, voice control, etc take care of infotainment needs. It also features a panoramic tilt/slide sunroof with electric sun-blinds. A stereo system from Naim make sure one never runs out of good music in the Bentley Bentayga. The tail-gate is electric and the doors get a soft-close feature.
This particular Bentayga W12 was a first edition model and came with all the bells and whistles. Carbon fibre trim on the exterior included the hood, body skirting, splitter and spoiler. Inside, the seats came with ‘First Edition' stitched onto them.
DriveSpark Thinks!
The Bentley bentayga is the epitome of luxury when it comes to SUVs. It seems like a perfect combination of the luxury of a large sedan, the driving dynamics of a sports car and the power output of a supercar.
