Subaru Tops The Chart In Global AWD Sales
Japanese carmaker Subaru has become the number one company in the global sales of all-wheel-drive cars.
Japanese automaker Subaru has achieved number one spot for the global sales of all-wheel-drive vehicles. The company has also beaten Audi to get the crown.
For the fiscal year 2015 to 2016, Subaru has sold nearly 1 million all-wheel-drive-cars. That's 2,45,382 more cars than the German firm Audi's Quattro lineup.
Subaru has also achieved the highest profit margins. Even better than the profit champions such as Jaguar Land Rover and Porsche when there was a good dollar-to-yen exchange rate.
Subaru’s largest market is the U.S. aROUND 99.3 Subaru’s sold in the U.S are equipped with company’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. The company is likely to sell more cars this year.
Subaru heavily depends on the U.S market. Around 60 percent of the all-wheel-drive vehicles sold were delivered to the U.S. The European market is not so profitable for the Japanese company as it sells way fewer cars than the U.S market.
